VOLUNTEER
Ramp Program
Volunteering to help build ramps is a fun, easy way to make a meaningful difference in your community!
What do Ramp Team Volunteers Do?

-
Our Ramp Team Volunteers help to build ramps for people with disabilities in Fairfield County.

-
Volunteers meet at the home where the ramp will be installed to help measure, dig, and cut, carry, screw, and nail wooden boards to make a ramp. Builds normally only take a few hours and are completed by early afternoon.

-
Volunteering is a fun experience, a great way to get outdoors and active, and provides a fantastic opportunity to help those in need in a meaningful, personal way.

What does it take to be a Ramp Team Volunteer?

-
Our Ramp Volunteers are dependable, caring, and love to help others.

-
No experience or supplies are needed, just a willingness to lend a hand.

-
Volunteers must provide their own transportation to and from build sites, which are always with Fairfield County.

-
Volunteers do not need to make any long-term commitments. You can join us for one build or several - it's up to you!
